Technical Sales Manager

The company was founded in 1998 and has developed an extensive portfolio of standard and customised products. The company focuses on providing customer satisfaction through its philosophy of supplying quality products at competitive prices, supported by high-level customer service.
As the Technical Sales Manager, you will be tasked with promoting the full product portfolio to existing and potential clients across various industries in the UK. Additionally, you will identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with clients, collaborate with the sales and technical teams to develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, promote and sell the product portfolio in overseas countries (direct selling as well as through dealers/distributors), and manage the business accounts from concept designs to delivery of the project.
Requirements:
- A qualification in Science and/or Engineering is preferred
- Proven experience in technical sales or customer service within a related industry (Engineering or Laboratory equipment)
- Strong Technical aptitude
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to sales and customer service
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for customer visits and service calls
What We Offer:
- £45,000 + £3,000 towards car allowance
- 39-hour week (8:30 till 5 Monday to Thursday and 8:30 till 4 on Friday) and half-hour unpaid lunch
- Hybrid work arrangement available if the candidate lives further than 30 miles from the office
- Ability to propose a commission structure in the next Financial Year
- Standard company pension
