Technical Sales - Pumps & Power role based in the United Kingdom (Bury St Edmunds area). Permanent full-time position with flexible location for the successful candidate.
The Role
GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications, including hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising Pump & Power Services hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business. This includes delivering sales presentations to senior management and promoting our product offering at depot/customer trade days.
You will work with stakeholders across the GAP Group network, including Regional Sales Managers and their teams, to proactively promote hire opportunities for Pump & Power equipment within existing customer bases. This role drives revenue for the Bury St Edmunds depot, with flexibility on location for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Maximise hire revenue opportunities from existing major accounts and win new business.
- Deliver sales presentations to senior management levels.
- Promote product offering at depot/customer trade days.
- Collaborate with GAP Group stakeholders to promote hire opportunities.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a field sales role within the Pumps or Power industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) and CRM systems.
- Full Driving Licence (Essential).
