We are seeking a Technical Service Delivery Manager to own the delivery, performance, and optimisation of core technical systems supporting the Port Services side of a leading shipping industry business. This is a systems-focused role with a strong technical infrastructure background, the ability to manage service delivery end-to-end, and the capability to bridge technical teams and the wider business. The role is critical to ensuring that our clients' systems remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose in a fast-paced operational environment.

Technical Service Delivery Manager - Infrastructure – Financial Services – £60,000 – Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Service Delivery & Operations: Manage and optimise IT systems supporting port services, ensuring availability, stability, and performance meet operational needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary contact for internal operational teams and external suppliers, aligning on service expectations and improvements.
- Technical Oversight: Apply hands-on IT infrastructure expertise across networks, servers, storage, and cloud services to ensure best practice and operational resilience.
- Project Support: Lead or support infrastructure-related projects, from upgrades to system integrations, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Business Analysis: Understand operational port service workflows, capture requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement system enhancements, automation, and process optimisations.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
Skills & Experience
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure - networking, servers, storage, cloud, and security.
- Proven track record in service delivery management, ideally within operational or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL service management processes (ITIL certification desirable).
- Experience managing or delivering IT projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Ability to analyse operational needs and design technical solutions to meet them.
- Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
