We are looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our growing team working with our customer National Gas. This is a pivotal, national role responsible for delivering excellence in hard services across a varied UK-wide portfolio, covering the South of England.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing hard services delivery and statutory compliance across the national portfolioManaging outsourced maintenance contracts and internal engineering teamsMaintaining and optimising the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule based on SFG20 and manufacturers’ guidanceSupporting area managers with PPM and remedial worksReviewing and validating quotes, method statements, and risk assessmentsManaging helpdesk and CAFM functionsLeading and developing engineering teams to deliver high-quality service in line with Health & Safety and statutory requirementsActing as the Authorised Person for Electrical Works, providing technical assurance and leadershipDriving supplier performance through regular reviews and continuous improvementSupporting future planning and infrastructure strategiesWhat You’ll BringEssential5+ years’ experience in Facilities Management, covering both hard and soft servicesRecognised engineering qualificationAuthorising Engineer / Authorised Person in M&E disciplinesStrong knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM planning, and energy utilisationExperience managing technical teams and contractors nationallyIBOSH qualificationProficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systemsDesirableFormal project management qualification (e.g. Prince2, APM)NEBOSH qualificationMembership of a relevant professional body (IET, CIBSE, etc.)Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgetsProven success in leading change management initiativesAdditional InformationReady to take the lead in a role where your expertise will make a real difference?
