Lead a skilled team of engineers and operatives, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to the highest standards. Maintain compliance, meet KPIs, and uphold the safety and security of the high‑security site. Advise the client, manage remedial works, review inspection reports, and ensure all health and safety documentation is up to date. Take ownership of billable works up to £25 000, oversee CAFM maintenance scheduling, and ensure asset updates are recorded accurately. Build strong relationships with DSTL stakeholders, VIVO colleagues, and our trusted supply chain. Develop talent, mentor apprentices, and contribute to succession planning and long‑term team development.

Key Qualifications

Technical qualification (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or equivalent) or sufficient technical knowledge within a hard services FM environment. Experience managing contractors and ensuring compliance. Reliability, self‑motivation, and excellent communication skills. Computer literate with ability to work with data and use CAFM systems. SMSTS and SC clearance is a bonus; prior MOD experience is a definite plus.
