Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to join our London office. You will collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager (PMM), Customer Success Managers (CSM) and other client-facing teams to train and onboard new users to BlueOptima’s suite of products. Reporting to the Head of Product (HOP), you will deliver training sessions tailored to individual and group user needs, helping B2B enterprise clients integrate BlueOptima’s tools into their day-to-day operations and drive product adoption and retention.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and execute a detailed training plan for each customer, ensuring sessions align with user roles, organizational goals, and the needs of software engineering teams.
- Manage pre-training actions (e.g., user creation, access management, invitations, personalised campaigns) and post-training actions (e.g., monitor user adoption, ensure onboarding objectives are met).
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new users at various levels, including Developers, Team Leads, their leaders, and executive dashboard users.
- Train internal champions within client organisations to act as product advocates and drive broader adoption.
- Design and maintain a content library (user guides, training modules, video tutorials) to support ongoing education.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting delivery for one-on-one or group settings.
- Collaborate with PMM and CSM to ensure training content aligns with product updates, customer needs, and market trends.
- Monitor onboarding impact on user engagement, usage, and retention; adjust training approaches to minimize churn.
- Provide continuous feedback to product teams based on client feedback and engagement data.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication in English, with strong written and verbal skills.
- 3-4+ years of experience delivering technical training for B2B clients in the UK, EMEA, and the USA.
- Adaptability and cultural awareness to varied training environments and user backgrounds, including non-English speakers.
- Degree in STEM field with understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience as a technical trainer in SaaS, ideally in B2B enterprises, with diverse user personas.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for virtual training delivery.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple training projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Good to have
- Additional languages are a plus.
- Analytical and reporting skills using analytics tools to measure training impact.
- Familiarity with software engineering or developer-focused products.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to structure training modules and assessments.
