We’re looking for an Analyst Lead to our Technology team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.

The Analyst Lead plays a key role in shaping and sizing ideas and turning them into deliverables for our Value Streams to deliver.The role involves working with colleagues in Technology and business teams to define technical deliverables delivering most value to Tesco Bank and our customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborating with Solution Architects and other analysts.
  • Providing cost and effort estimates for new Epics, features and projects.
  • Driving forward improvements in processes for requirements capture and other analysis tasks.
  • Managing a group of analysts, developing a team of high performing colleagues.
  • Engagement with stakeholders across technology including Software engineers, and also with business teams including Product leads and Risk colleagues.

We need you to have

  • Experienced technical/business analyst in a financial services organisation including the capturing of requirements for complex software developments for customer service improvements or cost savings.
  • Technical knowledge of a number of banking systems (e.g. Fraud, Mobile Banking)
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to lead small teams or people.
  • Resiliency
  • Experience of sizing new technical project deliverables

  • Experience of managing a team of other analysts or similar roles
