Technology Engineer (CCTV/ANPR)

Overview:

We are seeking an engineer for maintenance and repair of roadside technologies including cameras, message signs, and detectors. The role involves working across the Greater Glasgow area, with occasional trips to Northern England, performing reactive and preventative maintenance, calibration, and commissioning.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds in telecoms, CCTV/ANPR, security, or alarm systems, with electrical knowledge or qualifications. Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and IP configuration is advantageous, along with a willingness to work on roadside technology.

Key Skills and Experience:

1. Experience as a maintenance engineer
2. Fault finding at the component level
3. Experience with CCTV, ANPR, or roadside tech (highly desirable)
4. Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Comp TIA) (desirable)
5. Qualifications such as G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8 (highly desirable)
6. Ability to work planned night shifts and weekends (1 in 4)
7. Full UK driving license

Location:

Home-based in the Greater Glasgow area

Salary:

£34,000 to £38,000 per year, plus vehicle and regular overtime
