TRIA are supporting an insurance client in their search for a Senior IT Operations Manager - a critical role responsible for overseeing Infrastructure, Applications, and IT Operations across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned IT leader to shape, mature and deliver a high-performing IT operations function. You'll lead both internal teams and third-party partners to ensure services are delivered efficiently, securely, and aligned with wider business strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading end-to-end IT operations, spanning infrastructure, applications, service management, and supplier oversight.
• Embedding best practice frameworks such as ITIL, DevOps, and CIS.
• Driving continuous improvement across operational processes (incident, change and build).
• Overseeing service performance, reporting on KPIs, and ensuring governance and compliance.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders to align IT services with business priorities.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong leadership background in IT operations within insurance or financial services.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and application support.
• Proven ability to manage third-party vendors and lead high performing in-house teams.
• A strategic mindset with hands-on capability when needed.
