An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Technology Senior Buyer to join the procurement function of one of the UK's most recognised brands. This is a chance to be part of a large, strategic procurement team that is driving innovation and transformation across a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

The role sits within the technology procurement team, with a strong focus on tech services, software, and digital solutions. Working on business-critical projects, the successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end procurement processes, from developing sourcing strategies and leading tenders to negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance.

This position will suit someone looking to step into a visible, impactful procurement role where they will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, influence decision-making, and develop creative solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technology procurement activity, including RFP/RFX processes, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiations
  • Analyse commercial data and market insights to drive cost savings and value-added solutions
  • Support supplier management and relationship development across the tech services and digital space
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and shape sourcing strategies
  • Ensure best practice procurement processes, contracts, and frameworks are applied consistently

Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience running end-to-end tenders and strategic sourcing processes in the technology space
  • Commercially sharp, with strong analytical skills to evaluate costs and options using data
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence at multiple levels
  • Good working knowledge of contracts, frameworks, and procurement precedents
  • Supplier management experience gained in a large organisation / FTSE environment
  • Behaviours: proactive, motivated, agile, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment
