Overview

Our TechOps team is the heart of Monzo, ensuring that every Monzonaut has the tools and support they need to do their best work. As the friendly face of this team, our TechOps Support specialists are often the first point of contact for anyone needing help, whether it’s fixing a technical problem, setting up a new device, or getting a quick answer. We’re focused on providing a positive and empathetic experience with every interaction, building trust and making sure everyone feels heard and supported. We don\'t just solve problems - we build a foundation of reliability and excellence that enables the entire company to thrive.

You\'ll work to deliver an amazing service to our Monzonauts so that they can do their best work for our customers. While the role is varied, responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Answering technical queries and questions in Slack
  • Helping people resolve their issues face to face or via video call
  • Ordering laptops and peripherals
  • Delivering laptop onboarding sessions for new Monzonauts
  • Carrying out basic admin actions across our SaaS platforms
  • Working in a technical team that deals with a wide range of technical issues daily
  • Presenting technical information to groups
  • Creating an inclusive, supportive and helpful environment
  • Communicating technical solutions to people with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Troubleshooting macOS
  • Understanding basic networking
  • Learning quickly and sharing knowledge with others

Additional skills that would be helpful (not required):

  • Experience managing macOS, Windows or ChromeOS devices using mobile device management
  • Experience with Google Workspace or Slack administration
  • Experience automating common tasks
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python

What’s in it for you

  • Salary range £35,000 - £50,000 plus share options
  • Based in London; expected to work from the London office at least 4 days per week; hybrid options available
  • Flexible working hours
  • £1,000 learning budget per year for books, training courses and conferences

  • 2 hours of technical and behavioural interviews

This process should take around 2-3 weeks; we aim to be flexible with your schedule.
