Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets across six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are seeking to recruit a Telecom Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

- Competitive hourly pay rate
- Outside IR35 work engagement
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
NB: We can only consider candidates with the right to live and work in the UK.
Purpose of the Role
The candidate will be responsible for developing specifications and conducting technical evaluations of telecom systems, including but not limited to:
- LAN-WAN Systems
- Fiber Optic Cable Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Public Address and General Alarm Systems (PAGA)
- PABX, Hotline Systems
- Wireless/Microwave/TMR Radio Systems
- Perimeter/Fence Intrusion Detection Systems
Key Tasks / Experience / Qualifications
- Focus on safety, reliability, and quality in all telecom systems
- Create block diagrams, schematic diagrams, cable schedules, datasheets, interconnection and wiring diagrams, cabinet general arrangement diagrams, MTO, and layout drawings
- Hands-on experience in creating technical reports, drawings, and schedules for oil and gas onshore installations
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield telecom projects within the oil and gas industry
- Experience with onshore Middle East / Aramco projects is essential
