Telephone Account Manager — Fully remote
Salary £25K per annum plus excellent benefits

Our client, a specialist mortgage lender, is seeking a Telephone Account Manager. This is a customer-centric, sales-orientated role. You will be the first point of contact for broker customers, delivering exceptional customer service in a timely manner. To be successful, you will be a persuasive communicator with a strong commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Build lasting client relationships and deliver tailored mortgage solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Qualify and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Manage queries via calls and digital channels, resolving issues and providing product guidance.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with KAMs, underwriting, and processing teams to ensure smooth applications and excellent service.

Qualifications

  • Mortgage industry background is essential (from a telephone sales, account management, or customer service position).
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • A target-driven, self-motivated attitude with negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
