Have you previously worked in a role where engaging directly with tenants or community members was central to your responsibilities? You should be familiar with the regulatory and legislative requirements around tenant involvement in social housing or local government, and have experience planning and delivering engagement events or campaigns aimed at improving services and communication with service users. Experience in social housing tenant participation and a solid understanding of housing legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices (ideally within a local authority environment) are valued. As a skilled communicator, you should be able to build meaningful relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders and tenants to engage effectively. You should also be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, planning and delivering tenant engagement events, and working both independently and collaboratively to achieve results.
Responsibilities and expectations
- Engage directly with tenants and community members to support tenant involvement initiatives.
- Plan and deliver engagement events and campaigns to improve services and communication with service users.
- Build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and tenants; influence engagement outcomes.
- Coordinate multiple priorities, working independently and with teams to achieve results.
Requirements
- Experience in social housing tenant participation and knowledge of housing legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organised with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a hybrid, full-time role.
