Test Engineering Manager - Automation
I'm looking for a Test Engineering Manager to lead and scale a distributed team responsible for driving automation, performance testing, and quality engineering across the SDLC.
This is a strategic "player-coach" position that combines leadership, delivery ownership, and hands-on technical contribution in a modern CI/CD and DevOps environment.
You'll partner with engineering leadership to define the roadmap, mentor engineers, and implement test strategies that embed quality into every stage of product development.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement scalable test strategies across UI, API, performance, and integration layers
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of SDETs and QA engineers
- Embed automation across the SDLC using modern frameworks and tooling
- Champion shift-left practices and advocate for testability in architecture and design
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align testing with business outcomes
- Own quality metrics, risk reporting, and test governance across product teams
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in QA in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Proven background in automation frameworks, performance tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of tools such as Playwright, K6, JMeter, Selenium, REST Assured, Azure DevOps
- Experience designing test strategies for cloud-based, microservice-driven platforms
- Confident leading remote teams and mentoring engineers of varying seniority
