Test Environment & Release Manager

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver the test environment strategy to support a wide range of projects across a complex architecture.
- Plan, configure, and maintain test environments to ensure reliability, stability, and availability.
- Build real-time dashboards for monitoring performance, software versions, and environment health.
- Manage release processes, deployment dependencies, and associated risks.
- Implement governance frameworks, ensuring the right level of access, security, and test data management.
- Partner with QA and development teams to improve deployment automation and support CI/CD adoption.
- Define KPIs, track efficiency, and maintain environment roadmaps.
- Act as a central point of coordination for environment scheduling, downtime planning, and stakeholder communications.
Main Skills Needed
- We’re looking for a dynamic individual who brings energy, inspires confidence, and motivates teams to perform at their best.
- Proven background in environment and release management across cloud and on-prem solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of web applications, APIs, and open-source technologies (Java, Apache, Tomcat).
- Strong experience across Linux, AIX, and Windows systems.
- Solid SQL knowledge (DB2, Oracle, MySQL).
- Familiarity with IT security concepts, APM tools, and AWS.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GIT, Subversion).
- Strong grasp of code branching, deployment automation, and test data strategies.
