Role
We are seeking a committed, proactive, and community-minded Housing Officer to deliver high-quality housing management services, with a strong focus on customer service, tenant engagement, and operational efficiency. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Trainee Housing Officer based in London, with the flexibility of some work-from-home arrangements. The Trainee Housing Officer will be responsible for assisting with tenancy management tasks, addressing anti-social behaviour issues, providing housing management services, and delivering supportive housing. Daily tasks will include handling tenant inquiries, maintaining tenant records, and supporting senior officers with various administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with tenancy management tasks for housing tenants
- Address anti-social behaviour issues in line with policies
- Provide housing management services and support housing-related initiatives
- Deliver supportive housing and ensure high-quality customer service
- Handle tenant inquiries and maintain accurate tenant records
- Support senior officers with administrative duties
Qualifications
- Skills in anti-social behaviour and tenancy management
- Proficiency in housing management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience or interest in social housing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Background in social services or community housing is a plus
- Relevant academic qualifications in housing, social work, or a related field
- Ability to speak Kurdish or Turkish is desirable
