Overview

Trainee Phlebotomist role with full training provided at Bluecrest Wellness. Field-based positions available in Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Chorleywood, Bushey, Northwood, Stanmore.

Responsibilities

  • Work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total). Shifts may start between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday, allocated 3 weeks in advance.
  • Travel up to 2 hours to the venue; may use public transport depending on the venue type.
  • Assist in delivering high-quality health assessments across the region; greet customers and set up at allocated venues.
  • Conduct various health assessments based on chosen packages, including but not limited to PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests; update and maintain administration records.
  • Do not relay results or lifestyle advice to customers after assessments (as part of onboarding workflow).

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License and access to a car to transport kit to venues; ability to store kit items at home when not working.
  • Availability to work any day between Monday and Sunday, 6am–10pm on a rota basis; typical shifts are 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, or 1pm–10pm.
  • Proficiency with computers/laptop/phone/tablet.
  • Clear DBS check (processed on your behalf).
  • Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from home location and occasional overnight stays when required.
  • Live within the correct distance of the regional location and be prepared to attend Bluecrest Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon-Fri for both weeks).
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills; satisfactory enhanced criminal records check required as part of onboarding (covered by Bluecrest).
