Overview

Trainee Phlebotomist – Field Based, various locations in London. Full training provided. Salary: £20,837.25 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits.

Responsibilities

  • You will be required to work 3 x 10-hour shifts per week, totalling 30 hours per week, with hours between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts are allocated 3-weeks in advance.
  • You may need to travel up to 2 hours to your venue of the day; some travel may use public transport depending on venue type.
  • Visit multiple clinic venues within your region, greeting customers and ensuring high-quality service.
  • Plan routes, travel to allocated venues, unpack and set up kit, and conduct health assessments as part of the customer package.
  • Perform various health assessments with customers based on chosen packages, including but not limited to PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests; update and maintain administration records.
  • Do not relay results or lifestyle advice to customers after assessments (as per role scope).

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car to transport kit to venues; ability to store kit at home when not working.
  • Eligibility to work any day Monday to Sunday, with shifts from 6am–10pm on a rota basis.
  • Proficiency with computers/laptops/phones/tablets to a satisfactory degree.
  • Clear DBS check (we will process this on your behalf).
  • Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from home location and occasional overnight stays as required.
  • Residence within the correct distance of the regional location.
  • Attendance at Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Monday–Friday, for both weeks).
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
  • Enhanced criminal records check required as part of onboarding (covered by us).
  • All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
