Our Client Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Started up by two best friends, this company has grown their team from 8 to 80 in the last 10 years. Focusing on financial services, they work with professionals in private equity and hedge funds. They value autonomy over your own work, and so if you hit your targets and bill for the company, they will let you do your own business development and do the whole process yourself. They are looking for individuals with grit and energy to bring into the office and earn some serious cash for both them and the company.

What the Job will Entail
- This is a fast‑paced sales role so you will need to be both organized and confident calling professionals within the finance space
- You will map the market and become an expert within your field, becoming a specialist recruiter that clients will trust with their hiring
- To source your own clients, you will have to do your own business development and understand their hiring
- You will then headhunt the candidates via advertising, cold calling and networking
- Take these candidates through the interview process, be the middleman and set up the meetings and give them inside info so they will succeed
- Secure an offer and make your well‑earned commission
The Ideal Profile for this Role
- Confident communication with the ability to bring in a salesy element
- Charismatic and energetic
- Has a competitive streak whether that’s a team sport or a family board game – show you’re willing to work hard to hit targets repeatedly
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above from a well‑known university
- Sales or client‑facing experience that can translate into recruitment
