Full time | 37.5 hours per week | Hybrid working (2 days a week post-probation)
At HSS ProService, we’ve built a smarter way for businesses to get the tools, equipment, materials and training they need to get the job done. Our online platform connects customers with trusted suppliers and expert-led training, quickly and easily.
We use technology, teamwork, and bold thinking to improve how the building services industry works.
We’re now looking for a detail-driven, organised and people-focused Training Administrator to join our growing HSS Training team - the UK’s leading provider of health, safety, and technical training.
The impact you’ll have:
As a Training Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our training programmes running smoothly—making sure every detail is handled, every certification is delivered, and every learner has a great experience. You’ll be part of a close-knit admin team, supporting trainers, customers and awarding bodies behind the scenes to ensure everything works like clockwork.
A typical day:
Register training courses with awarding bodies via booking forms and online portals
Apply for and dispatch training certificates (email or post)
Handle incoming/outgoing post and help raise purchase orders
Support customer queries by phone, email and ticketing system
Keep internal systems and records organised and up to date
Maintain high levels of customer service and clear communication
Build strong working relationships with trainers, customers and team members
Actively learn and grow, training will be provided where needed
What you’ll bring:
Strong attention to detail and confidence managing data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good IT literacy especially with Microsoft Office
Time management skills and the ability to stay organised in a busy environment
A collaborative mindset - you’ll be working closely with colleagues and customers
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve
Experience using Microsoft Teams, Excel or ticketing platforms is a plus, but don’t worry if you don’t have it yet, we’ll provide training for the right person.
What you’ll get back:
Join a forward-thinking team that's committed to transforming how businesses operate, using the latest technology and a bold vision. If you're passionate about being part of an industry disruptor, this is the place to build your career.
- Your birthday each year as annual leave to spend how you want to!
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays!
- One day per year, you'll have the option to contribute to local voluntary work, an opportunity to give back to your community
- Training and development - you will get the opportunity to continuously further your career and opt in to courses suited to your role.
- Wellbeing and Healthcare support– you are the heart of our business, and we are committed to making sure you stay happy and healthy at work and at home.
- A culture of revolution; a chance to be a part of a pioneering change, by driving digital and technological changes to a traditional industry.
- Discounts and cashback on our perks site with a huge range of purchases including days out, restaurants, gym memberships, shopping and lots more.
- You will get the choice of other flexible benefits that work for you through our Benefits portal – you pick the benefits you want such as Critical Illness Cover, Cycle To Work, Holiday Buy Scheme and more
Different Perspectives, One Platform
We’re not all the same and that’s what makes us stronger. We believe great ideas come from different people, different experiences, and different ways of thinking.
Whether you’re starting out, changing careers, or looking for your next big move - if you’ve got the skills and the drive, we want to hear from you.
Not sure you tick every box? That’s okay. We welcome your application even if you don't meet every single requirement. If you have any questions, email us at ProCareers@hss.com and one of our team will be happy to help.
