As a Transport Planning Consultant you will be …

  • Preparing transport assessments, statements, and travel plans
  • Undertake data collection, traffic modelling, and analysis using industry-standard software e.g. Junctions 10 (ARCADY, PICADY), ArcGIS, TRICS, TEMPro, LinSig, or similar.
  • Support transport surveys and feasibility studies.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers, and environmental specialists.
  • Contribute to sustainable and active travel strategies in line with planning and environmental goals.
  • Attend client and stakeholder meetings and support public consultation events
  • Keep up to date with relevant planning policy and guidance.

What do we look for?

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a keen interest in transport and sustainability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a keen interest in learning and progressing.
  • A team player with the initiative to work independently and take initiative.
