What You'll Do:
As a Transport Planning Consultant at Mayer Brown, you will play a key role in shaping our projects and driving projects forward. Your responsibilities will include:
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Transport Planning Consultant with strong GIS skills to join our London office at Mayer Brown Limited. This exciting role focuses on delivering sustainable transport, active travel, and placemaking projects.
You will be organised, capable of managing multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively, and demonstrate good time management. A creative mindset would be advantageous. Additionally, you will be self-motivated, able to conduct independent research, and produce high-quality reports.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning, Geography, Urban Design or related field). Additional qualifications are advantageous.
Experience
- Experience working on transport planning, active travel network and urban mobility projects.
- Proficiency in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS and Adobe InDesign.
- A genuine interest in sustainable transport, walking and cycling infrastructure, and placemaking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and engaging reports and presentations.
- Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CIHT, TPS) is advantageous.
