Role: Travel Reservations Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information on availability, rates, and booking policies.
- Offer tailored recommendations to clients throughout the reservation process to help them make well-informed decisions.
- Accurately input reservation details into the booking system, ensuring all information is complete and up-to-date.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as room upgrades, packages, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle special requests, such as room preferences or dietary requirements, ensuring all needs are met with attention to detail.
- Provide information on destinations, local attractions, and available facilities to assist guests in planning their stay.
- Assist clients with modifying or canceling reservations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Resolve reservation-related concerns efficiently, maintaining a professional and client-focused approach.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of reservations and client interactions, ensuring data confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and excellent service delivery.
- Support revenue generation by promoting relevant services, such as tours or travel insurance.
- Proactively follow up with key accounts to drive repeat business and increase booking numbers.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in travel reservations, with a focus on key destinations like the Caribbean and Indian Ocean.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Sales-focused mindset with the ability to identify upselling opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt messaging to different client needs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
