Trusts & Tax Specialist (Private Client Team)We are working with a well-established law firm to recruit a talented Trusts & Tax Specialist to join their high-performing Private Client team. This is a full-time permanent position, offering flexibility on base location, with hybrid working arrangements and real support for work/life balance. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, with exposure to both domestic and international client work.ResponsibilitiesManage a broad caseload of trust settlements, trust administration, and associated tax matters.Draft and review trust documentation and provide specialist tax advice throughout the trust lifecycle.Deliver a high level of client service, maintaining long-term relationships with individuals, families, and referrers.Contribute to business development and networking to grow the team’s profile.Support colleagues across the wider Private Client practice, including estate planning and cross-border matters.Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and firm-wide policies.Take a proactive role in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of the trusts practice.QualificationsRelevant professional qualification (Solicitor, Chartered Tax Adviser, STEP, or equivalent).At least 3 years’ PQE with demonstrable experience in trusts and tax within a Private Client setting.Strong technical expertise in drafting settlements, administering trusts, and advising on complex tax issues.Broader knowledge of wills, estate planning, and wider Private Client matters is desirable.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.Commercially aware with proven experience in business development.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Previous leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.BenefitsCompetitive salary with discretionary bonus scheme.Hybrid and flexible working to support work/life balance.Private medical cover and enhanced pension contributions.Generous holiday allowance plus UK bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional leave.Group life assurance and income protection.Clear progression pathways, professional development support, and opportunities to broaden your work with international clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
