  • SALARY: £30,609
  • LOCATION(S): Watford
  • HOURS: Full-time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid work style, spending at least three days per week, or 60% of time, at the Watford site. During training, new starters are in the office 5 days a week until competent and fully trained.

In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for existing customers nearing the end of their employee car benefit agreements, guiding them through their renewal options and ensuring a seamless and positive experience. You'll play a vital role in driving customer retention, identifying opportunities for growth, and contributing to the continued success of our rapidly expanding business.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working in a phone-based customer service or sales role and familiarity with salary sacrifice car schemes or other employee benefit programs.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with customers over the phone and via email.
  • A warm, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others. A proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
  • Strong interest in cars and the automotive industry. (Prior knowledge of salary sacrifice car schemes is a plus!)

A proactive and resourceful problem-solver with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure. Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing situations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage a pipeline, and meet deadlines.

Helpful Experience

  • Initiate outbound calls to customers in renewal database to understand needs, present renewal options (including vehicle upgrades and agreement extensions), and secure renewed agreements.
  • Efficiently manage workload, ensuring timely follow-up on renewal opportunities and adherence to established turnaround times.
  • Employ a consultative approach to understand customer concerns, address objections, and tailor solutions that meet individual needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on latest vehicle models, features, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. Participate in internal demo car testing for product knowledge. Prepare tailored quotations and clearly communicate lead times, following up to nurture leads and secure orders.
  • Represent the company at driver roadshows and launch events, gathering customer feedback and promoting services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the renewal process and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service through phone and email, building rapport and long-term relationships. Manage live chat inquiries to provide immediate support.
