Overview

Are you a UAT Tester with a customer service background who is looking to be part of a small, enthusiastic and passionate team? Initially based onsite during the training, then the role will move to Hybrid with flexibility during testing projects.

To support the testing function by contributing to the overall quality assurance and success of project delivery and the ongoing maintenance of existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing the new CRM system Dynamics 365.
  • Performing all system testing for new functionality and regression testing of prior functionality.
  • Using agile methodology (2-week sprint cycle) to deploy new features as part of a dedicated IT and business team.
  • Provide good customer service and interact regularly with other team members.
  • Work closely with developers, BAs and business users.
  • Work on other projects as required by the test lead dependent on workload within the CRM project.
  • Handle varying workloads from sprint to sprint in agile delivery.
  • This is a manual testing role; no automation is involved.
  • Support end users to perform UAT.
  • Use Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage testing and project activities (writing/running test scripts, recording bugs, updating work items, linking items).
  • Regression testing of existing functionality.

Required Abilities, Knowledge & Attributes

  • A people person with strong customer service skills since the role is people-facing.
  • Previous experience as a UAT or Manual tester or similar role or demonstrable testing knowledge.
  • MS Dynamics 365 experience.
  • Very competent in Excel.
  • Suitable for someone from a customer-service background who has been a Superuser/System Tester/UAT Tester.
  • ISTQB tester qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Experience implementing testing and acting as a system expert.
  • Experience producing testing-related documents.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience, in writing and verbally.
  • Positive attitude, proactive, adaptable and a team player.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure, independently.
