Unit 4 Finance Functional Consultant (Inside IR35 Contract) – immediately available / short notice period. 2 days per week on client site (East Midlands); expenses covered. Hybrid opportunity with Version 1, a leading Oracle/Microsoft/AWS partner, supporting a flagship ERP programme with Oracle and Unit 4 specialists.

Job Description

You will lead and oversee the Unit 4 Finance functional delivery from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support. You will be the go-to expert, advising senior stakeholders, shaping solutions, and ensuring the system meets business needs.

Responsibilities

• Requirements definition
• Process mapping and redesign
• Design and gap analysis
• Application configuration
• Functional support of data migration and integration activities
• Leading solution validation workshops
• Testing support
• Training delivery
• Post go-live support and related functional implementation guidance

Qualifications

• Unit 4 – ERP experience is a must-have
• Oracle Cloud SaaS experience highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience working effectively within a team
• Organised and self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise across concurrent projects
• Experience managing change requests through development and testing lifecycle to project standards
• Experience liaising with Oracle for client SR management
• Ability to manage on-time project delivery and internal client satisfaction
• Risk management and change management on projects
• Advising clients on options, risks and impacts on processes or systems
• Effective communication and delivery of project milestones
• Timely task completion and regular status reporting
