Day rate: 400-£550 Outside IR35
Project duration: 2 months, with possible extension
Location: Remote with occasional workshops being in-person
We’re supporting a consultancy that specialises in business and digital transformation, known for fostering strong relationships while designing and delivering large-scale, complex transformations worldwide. They require a detail-oriented and proactive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager to lead the planning, execution, and governance of UAT across a process remediation programme.
This role is critical in ensuring that solutions delivered meet business needs and are validated by end users before go-live. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and a structured approach to managing UAT within complex, multi-stream programmes.

Tasks
- Develop and maintain the UAT strategy and detailed test plan aligned with the programme timeline
- Coordinate with workstream leads and subject matter experts to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate the preparation of test scripts and ensure appropriate test data is in place
- Manage UAT execution, tracking progress, capturing results, and resolving defects
- Support and train business testers to ensure consistency and accuracy in test execution
- Ensure alignment between UAT, business readiness, and training activities
Requirements
- An independent consultant
- Proven track record of leading UAT within multi-stream transformation programmes
- Formal qualification in testing, business analysis, or project delivery (e.g. ISTQB, BCS)
