About You

Do you have a passion for building amazing user experiences? Does empathising with users, understanding their pains, and identifying opportunities come as second nature to you? Are you passionate about continuously developing you and your teams’ skills? If so, this could be the role for you.

Role

As a UX Designer at Heywood you will help drive forward our software products ensuring users are at the centre of the solutions we design and build. Working with our Product Owners, you will define the problems that need to be solved and solutions with end users and/or customers. You will understand different research, prototyping and testing methods and know when and how to apply them. As a UX Designer, your role is to advocate the value of user experience to all levels of the business, being able to gain buy in from internal and external stakeholders as well as your peers. You will need to be willing to get ‘stuck-in’ and help other teams with tasks such as understanding customer needs and provide guidance on UX best practices.
