Job Description

We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer that applies a user‑centered design methodology throughout the entire project lifecycle. You’ll integrate the client’s business requirements, customer/end‑user needs, and technical capabilities to create a seamless user experience. With expertise in prototyping and wireframing, you will effectively incorporate usability best practices while collaborating with the project team, including developers, user researchers, and business analysts.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver design solutions that meet user and business needs and reflect known constraints.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, business analysts, and QA to arrive efficiently at suitable solutions.
  • Gather competitor insights, understand technical constraints, and communicate key insights and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Iterate designs based on user research and needs—use prototyping tools and have experience of usability testing.
  • Plan and facilitate stakeholder or customer workshops that support and drive the project forward.
  • Plan and create information architecture and user flows that are intuitive for users to find their way around our software.
  • Produce high‑quality deliverables that clearly communicate rationale in an easy to understand, compelling manner.
  • Create prototypes at the most appropriate fidelity for their purpose.
  • Create and maintain design systems/libraries to deliver consistency across the platform.
  • Recommend iterations or improvements based on user research.
  • Support user research activities.
  • Have experience using Miro as a collaborative tool and working in an agile team.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer with working knowledge of design techniques and tools such as Figma, Axure, Sketch, or XD and design systems.
  • Very good understanding of design thinking, UCD guiding principles, and best practice.
  • Desirable: Familiarity of GDS principles.
  • Ability to design for user needs.
  • Good practical knowledge of accessibility standards, implementation techniques, and testing.
  • Practical experience applying IxD principles and laws, with experience of wireframing and design.
  • Motivated and able to work proficiently independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and can explain ideas and rationale to internal team members and external stakeholders.
  • Experience designing for desktop and software solutions.
