Overview

As a User Experience Researcher, you will be primarily responsible for generating inspiring and actionable insight to help improve our customers\' experiences. You will work in a team alongside other UX professionals who are leading the user-centric product transformation of a previously traditional financial services business. You will uncover opportunities to further improve our understanding of both current and prospective users to create simple, intuitive but high-performance user experiences. You will work with UX Designers, UX Copywriters, UX Researchers, Analysts, Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, Testers, Customer Service Advisers and stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Embed user research into the double diamond process, working with Research, Design, Analytics and the Product Owners.
  • Deliver end-to-end research including setup, recruitment, moderation, data collection, analysis and debrief.
  • Deliver research workshops with key stakeholders within and across squads.
  • Conduct primary and secondary user research.
  • Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
  • Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies according to the problem statement.
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Work in an agile workflow collaborating with stakeholders within delivery squads.
  • Ask questions, gather data, and analyze data.
  • Use a diverse set of UX research tools such as User Testing and Contentsquare.
  • Provide support, guidance and coaching to designers, copy writers and UX/UI to upskill them to run their own research techniques.
  • Understand qualitative and quantitative research methods.
