Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Value Engineering Project Manager to join their team at Radway Green on a contractual basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage crucial projects within the Land Business Unit, working closely with various departments including procurement, engineering, production, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the main point of contact between procurement, engineering, production, and support teams
2. Manage and oversee value engineering projects within the Defence industry
3. Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth project execution and delivery
4. Drive programme and supply chain management changes
5. Provide engineering expertise, particularly in value engineering
6. Work on-site at Radway Green for three days a week, with remote work typically on Fridays
7. Support potential transition from a temporary to a permanent role based on performance

Job Requirements:

1. Experience in project management within the Defence sector
2. Strong engineering background with an emphasis on value engineering
3. Experience with supply or product management is beneficial
4. Proven ability to manage programme changes and supply chain adjustments
5. Excellent communication and liaison skills across multiple departments
6. Understanding of BPSS + CTC security levels
7. Willingness to work on-site at Radway Green for three days each week and remotely on Fridays
8. Dual nationalities accepted, subject to SC clearance
9. Engagement in critical Defence projects
10. Flexible hybrid working arrangements
11. Potential for contract extension or transition to a permanent position
