Overview
We’re looking for a Variable Pay Systems Analyst to join our Bradford-based team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office two days per week.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely daily commission reports to approximately 1,700 commissionable agents across Virgin Media. These reports are generated by extracting data from our billing systems, transforming it using SQL, and producing outputs via SSIS and Tableau.
You’ll also manage monthly reporting processes that provide additional insights to our commissionable workforce. As commission schemes and reward structures frequently evolve, you’ll play a key role in adapting and enhancing our systems to reflect these changes.
This position involves close collaboration with Employee Services (onshore and offshore), People Business Partners, Senior Sales Managers, and IT teams.
What will you be doing?
- Generate and distribute daily commission reports
- Resolve ad-hoc queries related to commission data
- Maintain input datasets (e.g., Employee Listing File, Points Table)
- Produce Salesperson Commission Summaries & Statements
- Produce Install Technician Bonus Summaries & Statements
- Execute the Clawback Process
- Implement commission scheme changes
- Support ad-hoc projects (e.g., migrating data sources from ADS stats to GCP)
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting as required
We tend to look for people with:
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with SSIS
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent data manipulation and attention to detail
- Solution-oriented mindset with ownership of issue resolution
- Experience working in large organisations and liaising with corporate IT functions
- Comfortable working with high-volume data (e.g., billing systems)
- Understanding of commission reporting and scheme rules
