Overview

VAT Director or Associate Director role with part-remote/hybrid arrangements. Based in Southampton with approximately half the time at home, for a Professional Services business.

Responsibilities

• Lead VAT projects and manage staff within a Professional Services business.
• Manage a substantial client portfolio profitably and actively seek opportunities to develop new clients and sell additional services to existing clients.
• Interact with client senior management and provide expert VAT advice.
• Apply in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of taxation and specialist VAT issues to complex scenarios.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
• Demonstrable post-qualification experience in VAT and related tax matters.
• Project and staff management experience.
