Vendor Planner Manufacturing Logistics

Location: Pyms Lane, Crewe, CW1 3PL (Hybrid: 3 days office-based)

Contract: Full-time, until December 2027

Responsibilities

  • Issuing accurate schedules to suppliers aligned with production plans and inventory targets
  • Identifying supply risks using SAP and supplier feedback, and coordinating corrective actions across Logistics, Purchasing, and Quality
  • Monitoring supplier performance via SAP and Tableau, escalating issues when needed
  • Maintaining KPIs and reporting supplier status and inventory levels to senior management
  • Resolving SAP schedule anomalies in collaboration with Tech Support, EDI, and Production Control

Join a fast-paced, collaborative team central to Bentley's manufacturing success. You\'ll help drive our Beyond100 strategy through efficient inventory management, supplier performance, and freight budget adherence.

Your Profile

  • Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving part shortages
  • Skilled in SAP and Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Background in time-critical logistics environments and standards like TS16949
  • Planning experience in production or manufacturing
  • Experience of working with internal customers, Production, Quality and material handling to support part shortage requirements for weekly car sales
