Are you a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can work across multiple sites? We have an opportunity to join Priory Vets and Steffan Vets with the flexibility to work at two of IVC Evidensia’s business’ in West Wales.

Priory Vets & Steffan Vets are looking for a vet just like you! We are advocates of good work life balance and career satisfaction - you can have both! We are well equipped to be able to build a role to suit your wants and needs. Priory is a 4 site (3 small animals and 1 farm & equine) and Steffan Vets is a 1 site truly mixed practice. Both practices are RCVS GP accredited with an experienced team. We can support you not just with flexible hours, clinical duties and locations, but with continued development and varied caseloads too.

If you prefer a mix of consulting and surgery, that’s great, and certificate study is encouraged and fully supported if that’s your goal. We would also love to hear from you if your preference is consulting only - it’s a vital role in practice and we have plenty of opportunity to support you in this area. In addition, there is no out of hours or on call work.

Our people are at the heart of everything that we do. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle, no matter what stage you’re at in your career. Typically, a full-time role is 40 hours over a five-day week, but we’re happy to talk through what works for you.

Each site offers superb equipment and facilities, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray (Steffan only), well-equipped laboratories and a high standard of inpatient care equipment. We enjoy long standing relationships with our loyal client base and continuity of care is of great importance to the overall service we provide. We are very proud to support local charities and rescue centres, and having been established for over 90 years, we have developed meaningful relationships within our local communities.

We are a happy team of vets, registered veterinary nurses, veterinary care assistants and client care advisors - we have a strong team ethic, and we support each other in achieving great patient care, great client care and a great day for all at work. Although there’s no obligation, we do enjoy each other’s company outside of work and there’s a lovely social element to the practice too.
