Role Overview We are pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Engagement Manager to join the Personnel Security Countermeasures Team on an initial two-year posting. This brand-new post will play a vital role in supporting the national rollout and implementation of the Routine and Responsive Vetting (RRV) programme across HMPPS. The role is central to leading stakeholder engagement within regions, helping operational teams understand the importance of vetting and safeguarding the service. You will be responsible for delivering site-based support, coordinating regional events, and running awareness sessions to improve understanding and capability around the new vetting model. You will also oversee regional assurance checks, contribute to audit and governance structures, and manage a small team of Band 3 Vetting Support Officers. The role will involve regular travel and visit prison and probation sites within your region. Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills
Enthusiastic, forward‑thinking, able to work independently while supporting a geographically dispersed team. Confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including local management teams. Skilled in coaching and supporting sites through change, with effective communication skills. Ability to see the bigger picture and communicate effectively.
Salary and Benefits National salary range is £39,803 – £43,783, London salary range £42,817 – £48,824. Working Arrangements Hybrid working arrangements where business need allows.
