We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Continuity & Recovery to join our Payments Platform team. This role is in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Support Strategic Resiliency Initiatives

  • Assist in embedding resiliency considerations into operational processes and technology solutions.
  • Partner with the Resiliency Lead to communicate and implement enterprise resiliency objectives across the platform.

Business Continuity & Recovery Execution

  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Business Impact Analyses (BIA), and Incident & Crisis Management (ICM) playbooks.
  • Coordinate preparedness and response activities for disruptions, including post‑event reviews and remediation of identified gaps.

Operational Coordination

  • Work with embedded Operational Resiliency Leads and Resiliency Coordinators to execute resiliency activities.
  • Support testing programs for Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, and Data Center Rotation exercises; compile and present results to senior stakeholders.

Incident Response & Crisis Support

  • Act as a key coordinator during incidents and crises, ensuring timely activation of recovery strategies based on impact assessments.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation for internal and external stakeholders during recovery events.

Regulatory & Audit Engagement

  • Prepare evidence and documentation for regulatory reviews, audits, and client inquiries related to continuity and recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with resiliency policies, procedures, and supervisory expectations.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Several years’ experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or operational resiliency within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of technology infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for large financial institutions.
  • Experience with BCP, BIA, and crisis management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
