Responsibilities
Portfolio management: Own the complete lifecycle of Omdia’s flagship events, from three‑year strategic planning to day‑of‑event execution.
P&L responsibility: Drive revenue growth and profitability across the event portfolio while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Growth opportunities: Identify and assess new market opportunities, event formats, and strategic partnerships that expand our reach.
Cross‑functional collaboration: Lead coordination across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
Team development: Build and mentor a high‑performing events team through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
Quality delivery: Ensure every event exceeds customer expectations through meticulous planning and flawless execution.
Performance optimization: Monitor and improve key metrics including attendance, satisfaction scores, and revenue per attendee.
Innovation leadership: Pioneer new event formats and technologies that enhance knowledge transfer and customer engagement.
Content curation: Partner with the analyst team to deliver programming that addresses current market challenges and opportunities.
Relationship building: Cultivate connections with key customers, prospects, and industry influencers who drive event success.
Market intelligence: Gather customer insights and market sentiment to inform both event strategy and broader business decisions.
Industry presence: Represent Omdia as a thought leader through active participation in the technology events community.
Qualifications (Essential Experience)
7+ years in B2B event planning and strategy within knowledge‑driven industries.
5+ years successfully leading dynamic teams while encouraging professional growth.
Technology sector expertise with genuine passion for how market intelligence drives business decisions.
Proven success managing teams in remote and flexible work environments.
