Rate: $250K-$300K
Job Description: Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this position leads national recruitment across all lines of the company's business. The VP of Talent Acquisition will play a crucial role in driving the recruitment strategy supporting the significant growth agenda and evolving the TA function's efforts to attract talent for early career programs through executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a recruitment strategy aligned to business planning, workforce planning and talent assessment processes, that supports the growth of the company
- Lead a team of (currently) 13 recruiters to deliver on all states of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening candidates, and offer process
- Demonstrate strong people management capabilities, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, emphasizing development and fostering a collaborative and high performing culture; develop more consultative capabilities in the senior TA leaders
- Enhance the talent acquisition strategy by staying close to market trends and industry/competitive intelligence, ensuring the attraction of the best market talent
- Establish and refine a data-informed recruitment process across locations, adapting strategies based on their effectiveness
- Experienced in standardizing and automating processes, evolving metrics and data-driven decisions, including use of AI to modernize processes
- Evolve a campus strategy to support the growth of both intern program and early career program
- Lead team to develop sourcing channel strategy (research, lead generation, sourcing, referral generation, search partners and sourcing tools)
- Provide direction and consultation on emerging trends impacting and influencing attraction and acquisition within critical talent segments
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the People and Culture team and business leadership to align talent acquisition with dynamic business needs
- Leverage Applicant Tracking System (iCims)
- Represent Talent Acquisition in transition to Oracle Cloud
- Develop and lead national workforce planning and mobility strategy
- Partner with Compensation to drive awareness of and adherence to compensation philosophy
- Ensure compliance with Pay Transparency legislation
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of talent acquisition experience, with 5+ years of experience as the leader of a national Talent Acquisition function
- Construction industry, property management and/or commercial real estate experience preferred
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, TA operations and employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve recruitment challenges and achieve business objectives
- Competence to run conversations at the executive level as well as minutely drive the talent acquisition teams across all locations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to independently run day-to-day recruitment operations and plan, execute and deliver on the strategic initiatives
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software tools
- Ability to use data and analytics to develop insights and influence decisions
- Strong MS Office Suite experience
- Adaptable, resilient and able to thrive in ambiguity
