We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Trustee & Depositary to join our Fund Oversight, Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh and is 4 days Hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Operational Team within Trustee & Depositary – Responsible for the achievement of team objectives.
  • Assist Head of Fund Oversight UK with internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Represent the business at Client Diligence and Service Reviews.
  • Lead on projects with the business as required.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing contribution and professional growth.
  • Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and output quality/quantity. Tasks include data input, banking, accounts.
  • Ensure appropriate systems, processes, controls, and knowledge are embedded to comply with all UK CASS regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Work experience within the investment funds industry.
  • Team management experience.
  • Compliance experience would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of fund accounting, fund structures and different assets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail, good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment. Flexible, willing to challenge the status quo, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
