We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Trustee & Depositary to join our Fund Oversight, Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh and is 4 days Hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Management of Operational Team within Trustee & Depositary – Responsible for the achievement of team objectives.
- Assist Head of Fund Oversight UK with internal and external audits and inspections.
- Represent the business at Client Diligence and Service Reviews.
- Lead on projects with the business as required.
- Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing contribution and professional growth.
- Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and output quality/quantity. Tasks include data input, banking, accounts.
- Ensure appropriate systems, processes, controls, and knowledge are embedded to comply with all UK CASS regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work experience within the investment funds industry.
- Team management experience.
- Compliance experience would be advantageous.
- Understanding of fund accounting, fund structures and different assets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail, good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment. Flexible, willing to challenge the status quo, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
