Working with one of the UK’s top charity brands offers a highly rewarding role. As an expert in your field, you’ll meet challenges head-on—working with external suppliers to produce impactful video content that engages audiences and sparks conversations. Your understanding of factual filmmaking and creating safe spaces for contributors discussing sensitive issues will advance Macmillan’s work with underserved and underrepresented communities.

You will develop close working relationships with stakeholders and clients, ensuring they are equipped to research, commission, and deliver engaging content. Promoting your own and your team’s expertise, you’ll be involved in all Macmillan video projects, providing advice and guidance in a collaborative manner. You’ll understand what works across different social platforms, how to work sensitively with contributors, and adhere to GDPR and contractual legal obligations.

In an ever-changing digital landscape, you’ll ensure the team remains dynamic and adaptable in reaching audiences across multiple platforms. You will manage relationships with external agencies, helping them deliver compelling creative content, and act as a support bridge between them and Macmillan colleagues. Ensuring all content aligns with our sector-leading brand, you will make video a central part of our communication strategy.

You will oversee the operations of our video function, requiring demonstrable experience in implementing workflows and using platforms and systems to track briefs, store content logically, and collect data and insights.
