What You’ll Do
The purpose of our Specialist Sales team is to support Vodafone Business UK to accelerate AOV from our strategic growth product areas, providing the technical and commercial expertise to support our customers, and help upskill our account managers. This role leads a team of Fixed Specialists as part of the brand new Specialist Sales function in VBUK, growing headcount to drive AOV growth from key products and to support the LRP and strategy. Key accountabilities include:
- Build a high-performing, diverse team of Fixed Specialists to deliver AOV growth across key product areas
- Think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes, collaborating cross-functionally to set the team for success
- Act as an ambassador for the Specialist Sales team and embed the persona across Sales segments to drive adoption and collaboration
- Educate the wider Sales team to be proficient in selling Fixed products
- Drive and influence Fixed product roadmap based on market insights
- Build internal stakeholder relationships and secure support from Product, Presales & Commercial
- Manage team performance to achieve AoV targets
- Ensure rigour and compliance around sales methodology and tools (notably 1SF and complex sales) across functions
- Foster a culture of continuous personal development on B&C products
Who You Are
- Skilled in strategic planning, data analysis, and financial insight with market expertise or technical proficiency
- Experience leading and building high-performing Sales teams
- Comfortable within a changing environment and capable of leading change
- Understanding of complex B2B sales cycles
- Knowledge of a Specialist product area (SD-WAN/LAN, DIA, Cloud & Compute, also useful)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to persuade, negotiate and influence
- Ability to hold engaging C-level, business-led conversations
