Your leadership in this role ensures that the right people join the organisation, people who are not only skilled but also aligned with our values of fairness, inclusion, and dignity. By creating a seamless and welcoming on boarding experience, you will help new team members feel connected, confident, and ready to contribute from day one.

What are we looking for?

Key Skills & Experience More than 3 years experience in recruitment, on boarding, HR, people management, or community engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Creative, proactive approach to problem-solving and systems design. Comfortable using digital tools to manage recruitment, communications, and onboarding (e.g. Google Workspace, Airtable, Trello, or similar). A passion for social impact, inclusion, and community empowerment. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, committed team.

We are a growing Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to supporting the fair and responsible integration of migrants into their new communities. To scale our impact, we rely on the expertise and energy of a diverse team of skilled individuals. We are now seeking a strategic and people-focused Engagement & On boarding Lead to design and lead the way we attract, welcome, and retain purpose-driven contributors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in HR, recruitment, community building, or team development who wants to use their skills to drive meaningful social change. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to attract skilled, values-aligned individuals to support various areas of our work. Lead the end-to-end engagement journey, from role design and outreach through to selection, on boarding, and integration. Collaborate with the leadership team to assess team needs and define role requirements that align with our mission and priorities. Create clear, inclusive role descriptions and outreach materials to promote opportunities across relevant platforms. Manage the application and on boarding process, ensuring smooth communication, timely follow-ups, and a positive experience for all. Design and deliver engaging on boarding experiences that reflect our mission, culture, and expectations. Build systems for tracking, communicating with, and supporting new team members throughout their journey. Develop strategies to increase retention, motivation, and engagement among all contributors.
