  • Oversee the commercial aspects of deal implementation, ensuring seamless launch and ongoing delivery across platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders at major operators, platforms, and distributors.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
  • Partner with finance, legal, and strategy teams to evaluate business cases, structure deals, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Monitor global media market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to inform BBCUniversal’s commercial strategy and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Act as a thought leader within the organization, influencing internal stakeholders and advocating for innovative distribution approaches to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Represent BBCUniversal at external meetings, industry events and partner engagements, reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in media distribution.

  • Proven success negotiating and closing complex carriage and/or streaming distribution deals across multiple territories.
  • Strong understanding of the global DTC and OTT landscape, including app‑based distribution models, subscription mechanics, and platform integrations.
  • Technical fluency to bridge commercial and operational discussions, comfortable engaging with product and technology teams on implementation details.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing, mentoring, and motivating teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed global media organization preferred.
