OneFile, a Harris Computer company, are recruiting for a Vice President of Operations & Delivery on permanent, full-time basis. The position is hybrid, with the expectation of working a minimum of two days per week from our Manchester City Centre office, off Deansgate.
As a Vice President, this professional will take full ownership of professional services delivery and cross-functional operational excellence. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring that our customers receive timely, high-quality implementations and that the entire business runs efficiently and at scale.
You will lead the Professional Services function, including project delivery, onboarding, and client-facing implementation teams. In parallel, you will work cross-functionally to optimise internal processes, systems, and business operations ensuring that we scale sustainably and deliver exceptional outcomes for both customers and employees.
What you will do
In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, (but will not be limited to):
Professional Services & Customer Delivery
- Lead the successful delivery of all implementation and professional services projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-impact outcomes for customers
- Develop and maintain scalable delivery frameworks, playbooks, and templates to support repeatable and consistent project execution
- Embed KPIs to monitor delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and resource utilisation
- Partner closely with Sales and Client Success to ensure smooth handovers, project scoping, and early value delivery
Operational Excellence
- Evaluate and optimise end-to-end internal processes across departments (e.g., Sales, Support, Product, R&D) to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Own the creation and reporting of operational dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making across the business
- Champion systems improvement and automation initiatives (including AI) that reduce friction and unlock scale
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing delivery and operations team
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity
- Collaborate with the SLT to set and monitor company-wide OKRs and operational priorities
- Act as a key voice in SLT meetings, helping to align delivery and operations with commercial and product goals
Strategic Projects & Scaling
- Lead or contribute to high-impact strategic projects such as global delivery model design, ISO compliance, or new market operational readiness
- Support the integration of new offerings, services, or acquisitions into core operations
What we are looking for
This role requires a strong SaaS operational leader with a track record of driving customer value, embedding scalable delivery models, and building performance-focused teams across functions.
You will be an integral part of an experienced executive team striving to reinvent and guarantee our customers’ positive experience with the products. You will possess exceptional organisational and leadership skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Education in Business Administration, a related field, or relevant professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in professional services and delivery
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Proven record of developing and implementing successful delivery processes and driving client satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking, organisational, and leadership skills
