Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of multiple pressure management schemes for specific client projects in accordance with project objectives, undertaking and leading processes in line with specific Client Standards and Specifications.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues working within your project team and beyond.
  • Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the RPS HSE policy and management systems.
  • Take responsibility for delivery of project deliverables including but not limited to: feasibility studies, options development, asset performance assessments, and report preparation.

Requirements:

  • A strong knowledge of clean water networks, hydraulics, and pressure management.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A deep knowledge of clean water networks and pressure management.
  • Significant experience in a modelling or engineering background at either a consultancy, water company, or regulator.
  • Proven record of delivering programmes of work to time, cost, and quality in line with framework requirements and client specifications.
  • Demonstrable experience in discipline-specific network modelling applications such as InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS Pro, or SynerGEE.
  • Experience with GIS software (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Preferably degree qualified in a relevant technical subject, with postgraduate qualifications an advantage.
  • Charterership or working towards chartership for Senior or Principal grades.
  • Affiliation with a professional institution like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM, or in the process of working towards membership and nearing application.
  • Proficient in MS 365 applications.
