We are looking for passionate, motivated, and inspirational leaders to work within our Operational Leadership Teams in Suffolk. This position provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong clinical background in mental health and a good understanding of the challenges of working as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or Mental Health Practitioner.

You will be involved in planning and coordinating interventions for people with common mental health problems wanting to access and receive the treatment offered by our bio-psycho-social service. As a service, we offer a range of psychological, employment and social interventions across Suffolk. At Step 3 we offer individual and group CBT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Couples Therapy for Depression, Counselling for Depression and EMDR.

You will be offered robust supervision and access to the NSFT Leadership Academy, providing opportunities for Coaching, Mentorship and Leadership training. The Service has strong links with the University of East Anglia and a keen interest in research at all steps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of clinicians within the Operational Leadership Teams.
  • Plan and coordinate interventions for people with common mental health problems.
  • Ensure delivery of services offered by the bio-psycho-social approach.
  • Provide robust supervision and support for staff development.
  • Engage with the NSFT Leadership Academy for coaching, mentorship and leadership training.
  • Foster strong links with partner institutions (e.g., University of East Anglia) and support research activities.
  • Work flexibly with on-site and at-home time as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical background in mental health.
  • Experience as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or Mental Health Practitioner.
  • Proven leadership and inspirational management experience in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor interventions within a bio-psycho-social service.
