The role

We are currently seeking a skilled Windows DevOps Engineer. In this role, you\'ll use tools like Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Configuration Management to automate and streamline IT operations on the Windows platform. Your tasks will include automating software deployments, enforcing security policies, managing updates, and monitoring compliance across devices. By using automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code principles, you\'ll help reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain automation workflows that keep our endpoints secure and compliant.
  • Research innovative ways to reduce operational overhead.
  • Leverage tools and APIs to integrate systems together.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of production issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience with medium to large scale IT enterprise application and/or infrastructure
  • Understanding the architecture around Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management, Azure and Intune
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with SQL queries
  • Experience in Enterprise Microsoft and Third-Party security patching
  • Experience Office 365 Management
  • Experience supporting servers and client application administration
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI tools such as Co-pilot, ChatGPT and Gemini
  • Project leadership experience
  • Working experience in an Agile environment
  • Experience with log aggregation toolsets (e.g. SPLUNK, Grafana)
  • Knowledge of Python
